Humour Analysis

The piece of writing that I am going to talk about was the “poop” story.  To me this was one of the funniest stories I’ve heard in a long time.  The situation that the guy was in just kept getting worse and worse.  This is one of the reasons that this story is so funny.  I also found it funny the way he referred to the little kids in the restaurant as “little bastards”.  Another funny part is when he was talking about “the move” and then he saw the barf on the floor and he started throwing up, and from there it was pretty much game over for the poor guy.  After making that much of a mess, and to have people actually walk in on him in that state also added humour to the story.  To look over and see that there was no toilet paper pretty much put the final nail in the coffin, I mean what bad luck the guy was having.  Obviously I thought this story was funny, and I think other people would find this story funny as well.  Just because you have to look at the situation, it’s the worse possible scenario that you could ever encounter in public.  The way the guy described it as he was writing the story gave you images in your mind that you wish you would never have to imagine, but at the same time it makes you laugh.
