In case you haven`t noticed I have 2 , actually 3 tatoos. I have a plack panther on my chest. I got that while I was in the military. I chose the tatoo because I was really racially frustrated. During the time, I realized that 1 out every 4 black men had jail issues, I was dealing with racism it seemed everyday. I got the tatoo because I felt like the black panther: rare, hunted endangered, beautiful, frieghtening, skilled, and admired. All my anger and frustration of being a blackman can stay on my chest and not in my mind
The second tatoo is a Chineese word "Ronan". The character which I chosed had the meaning of "Old man". It was appropriate it seems since most people think of me as a wise old man.
The third tatoo is also Chinese. It`s the word "Giri" and is how I live. Giri simply put is Obligation, Duty, and Honor. You repay your debts, you act according to tradition and do what you will at all costs to keep your honor and complete your duties. |
