-Bios-Mike-Story-

I was born on March 25th, 1987 in West Bend Wisconsin. For those of you who can't count that makes me 16. Anyway, music has always been a major factor in my life, it all started when i was a wee lad, ages 4-6 when i got my Toys R' Us fake guitar which i still have to this day! (Just kidding) Junior high came and i joined the band, i played the trumpet. After a year and a half of that i got a little bored and decided to find something else to play, so i switched to percussion.. Which was a blast. 8th grade came and i picked up my first guitar, (yet another change), although i stayed in band until the end of that year. My first guitar was an all black Squire Fat Strat with a Fender Champion 30 amp. Would you believe the first song i learned was the James Bond theme, now is that intense or what?! End of 8th grade came and i decided that i wasn't into that so called 'group band' and practicing when they told me to, i practice when i practice, thats my philosophy. Anyway, Freshman year came, this was the year where i bought most of my goods. First, in october i bought a cherry red Ibanez Destroyer. Then, a few months later i picked up a ZOOM 505 II guitar effects pedal. Two months later i traded my Fender Champion 30 Amplifier and some dinero for my favorite Marshall MG80RCD Power Amp. Towards the end of the year, before the time Mars Music closed i picked up a Takamine Acoustic/Electric guitar. Now came my sophmore year and that was the year where i was really into learning how to solo well, and thanks to bands like Metallica/Ozzy/and Van Halen, etc. who showed me the way to do it. Christmas time came and i picked up one of the final pieces to my instument puzzle, i traded my ZOOM 505 II guitar pedal plus a lot of cash and got my Boss GT-6 Multi-Effects Pedal Board. Still self taught, i am jamming along bands such as Metallica/Ozzy/Zepplin, not missing a note. January/February 2003 i joined the band i am currently in and even though we haven't had any 'real' gigs i would have to say we dominate pretty well and the day we get some gigs we'll for sure turn some heads. Peace.
