Star Wars: A New Hope Bloopers 
1. In the trash compactor, after the Diagnoa roars, if you look closly you can see Luke say "What was that", but no sound comes out. 
2. During his duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi, there is a shot where Darth Vader's life support computer is flipped. 
3. While charging into DS control room 327 a stormtrooper hits his helmet on the door. (Towards the end of the movie, right 
after some of the trash compactor scene, the scene in which the com-link is trying to reach the droids). 
4. While R2-D2 is in the Jawa Droid Compactor, in the shot right after the second shot of R5-D4, you can see Kenny Baker's face through his "eye". 
5. On the Tantive IV, while Vader in interrogating a rebel, the leftmost stormtrooper has his blaster at waist level, in the next 
shot, it's up at his chest. 
6. As C-3PO is walking by the Skeleton of the Kyrat Dragon, he has a large grease stain down his left side. A few scenes later, it's down his right. 
7. After R5-D4 blows his top, there is a shot of R2-D2. In the background, however, you can see R5-D4 being prepped from BEFORE Owen bought it. 
8. If you look closely, you can tell that none of Beru'sa lines are in synch with her mouth. 
9. During the dinner scene, Luke pours himself a glass of blue milk. A few scenes later, the milk and his cup have swiched 
hands. 
10. In Ben Kenobi's house, C-3PO powers down, yet his head turns when Luke ignites the lightsaber. 
11. If you pause the movie a few frames before Greedo is shot, you can see a REALLY bad dummy. It looks much thinner that it's Rodian counterpart. Also, it's wearing a different jacket. 
12. After Greedo is shot, during the scene with the alien with the big snout, a variety of creatures can be seen in the 
background. One of them looks EXACTLY like Greedo. 
13. When the stormtroopers are entering the Cantina, watch the little mousy alien at the bar. It tries to take a drink, but hits it's chin instead. Also in the first scene with it, as it turns it's head, you can see right through it's eyes. 
14. (This blooper apears in the letterboxed version only.) During the shootout between Han and the Stormies, a man in a green shirt can be seen in the background. In the next shot, however, he is gone. 
15. After Leia finishes storing the DS plans in R2-D2, he begins to roll away. However, if the scene had continued, he would 
have hit the wall. 
16. Right after Luke takes the newly-aquired droids in the garage, a rag apears and dissapears from 3PO's hand repeatedly. 
17. During the Vader/Kenobi fight, there are several shots where you can see the power cord used to power Kenobi's 
lightsaber. 
18. Lightsabers project light, yet make shadows. Watch during the Kenobi/Vader fight. 
19. Just after Vader kills Obi-Wan, his lightsaber is white instead of red. 
20. In Obi-Wan's house, there is a "shawl" hanging from the left side of an Arch. In the next shot, It's hanging from the right. 
21. In the cantina, as Luke is looking around, there is a shot of two purple aliens in conversation. the one on the right has bulging, purple, very alien-looking hands, while the other one has on gloves over obviously human hands. 
22. During a scene where Vader is talking to Tarkin, he stops. But, his hands are still gesticulating. Tarkin doesn't reply until 
they stop, either. 
23. In the scene where the falcon is floating into the Hanger Bay aboard the DS, you can see where the light from he enterance is blacked out because of the support pole for the model falcon. 
24. If you watch closly, you can see that Chewbacca acually enters the garbage chute twice. 
25. In the trash compactor, Leia grabs a metal pipe, and it bends under her grip. Look closely, it's almost unnoticable. 
26. In the breifing for the attack on the Death Star, the superlaser is shown aligned with the equator of the station. However, the laser is clearlt located in the northern hemisphere. 
27. During the fighters approach to the Death Star, red leaders microphose switches sides. 
28. During any scene in the Death Star confrence room, you can see scenerey swaying in the background. 
29. When Princess Leia is interrogated by the droid, you can see the crane used to support it in the background. 
30. The first time you see the Falcon, note that it's sensor dish is missing. 
32. The configuration of the windows in a TIE and in the Falcon is different from outside to inside. 
33. The blaster rifles were modified sub-machine guns. To simulate kickback, the guns fired blanks. because of this, they ejected the spent cases, which real laser rifles would not do. 
34. In the Detention control room, after Han Solo blasts the panel, you can see racks of security equipment. Equipment that was just destroyed. 
35. In the trash compactor, there is a scene where Leia leans against some trash to the left. In the next shot, she all of a sudden is leaning to the right. 
36. During the Scene where Han Solo says "didn't we just leave this party", you can see the shadows of Hamill and Fisher as 
they await their cue. 
37. After the scene where Leia says "We have no time for sorrows, Commander", you can see that Han Solo's holster has been reversed. 
38. As the Falcon flies through hyperspace on course for Yavin 4, there is a scene where Leia and Han are talking. But instead of Hyperspace, normal space appears outside the cockpit window. 
39. Throughout most of the movie, C-3PO has a dent on the left side of his head. In one scene near the end, however, the dent appears on the right side. 
40. Biggs Darklighter's mike also flips sides during the Death Star attack scenes. 
41. OK, this is the most controversial bloopers in SW history. After Luke blows up the Death Star, he lands at Yavin base and Leia yells "LUKE!" Hamill responds by yelling "CARRIE!". Although some people say they heard "HEY!", George Lucas admitted that it was, in fact, Carrie. 
42. During the medal ceremony, there is a shot of Leia with a wide smile on her face. In the next shot, her mouth is closed. 
43. If you look closly, you can see David Prowse through the eyeholes on Vader's mask. 
44. During the trash compactor scene, Chewbacca moves around a bit. First, he is seen pushing on the wall, then he is turning to pick up his crossbow. After that he is back at the wall. 
45. When R2-D2 first projects the message fragment to Luke, you can see C-3PO fall off the step he is on. 
46. When Han and Chewie are trying to get out of Mos Eisly, when you see the shot of Chewie in the Falcon, look up top and it appears that dice are hanging from the top.
