Xfm - Razorlight Plan 'Not Shit' Album - 3rd September 04
Razorlights Johnny Borrell has been talking to Xfm about the pressures of his newfound fame, his bands future plans and what the follow up to Razorlights number one debut album is going to sound like.

Following the Top Ten success of Razorlights debut album Up All Night and recent single 'Golden Touch' and mere days before their new release 'VICE' hits the shops, frontman Johnny Borrell has been talking to Xfm about their newfound fame and notoriety.

The mood in the camp right now is well, a little bit frazzled. He admitted, And weve been talking about ourselves all lot. Were upbeat though.

Emotionally I havent come to terms with it [all the attention] at all, but physically I suppose Im alright. The only thing I ever wanted was to make really, really, good songs, and were doing that so its cool.

As for the bands future plans, 2004 seems set aside for touring, but despite this Borrell confessed that hes finished writing the new album already.

Were going to America, then were coming back for a really big UK tour, then were off again touring America, Europe and stuff so were basically touring for the rest of the year, he explained.

But Ive got some great songs lined up. Im not saying anything about them though. Its all very secret. The second record? Lets just say were gonna make a really good second record, instead of a shit one which is what most people do yknow?
