| Third Trimester...Part 2! | ||||||||
| 7/21/03 - What a week...lol. We were told last Thursday that I was 3 cms dialated, 90% effaced and -2 station. It didn't hit me how big this was until he gave me a 50/50 chance of making it to my appointment next Thursday! Friday I was having contractions, 2-3 minutes apart 1 minute long...This lasted for about 4 hours, but by the time we got to the hospital they apparently slowed down. They ended up being irregular. When they checked me, they told me that I was almost 4 cms dialated...so I'm changing slowly. I still don't know if I'll make it to this Thursday, I'm losing my mucus plug apparently. Yesterday my work threw me a babyshower, it was a lot of fun =) I was so touched by so many people showing up, there were about 10 people there. Wednesday, Jason's work is throwing a babyshower for us too, if I make it that far, lol. Everyone has been so nice these past 9 months...its so nice to know we have so many people we can count on when we need them. Well, this is it for now! It's odd thinking that who knows, tomorrow our baby may be here...but that's how it's been since Thursday, lol. I'll write more later | ||||||||
| 7/26/03 - We had our babyshower at Jason's work yesterday! It was so nice, I was almost brought to tears a couple of times! Everyone was so great and we got so much nice stuff. Unfortunatley, we couldn't find our camera for the shower...so we had to steal one of the pictures that was taken for his work and scan it then take it back, lol. So there is a new picture in the picture section, I really wish we had more! I really don't know how to go about thanking everyone! Sheryl called last night to tell me she was going to the hospital...she called back a few hours later to let me know that this was it, she wasn't going home! They are shooting for her to have her c-section at 2 today...that's only an hour and a half away! It doesn't seem like we should be so close to being able to hold our babies! |
