Official Rules of Razorback Championship Wrestling

1. Applications

Each potential roster member of RCW is required to fill out an application prior to joining. If everything is in order, you may expect a prompt response from a member of management confirming your addition to the roster. If further details are required, a PM will be sent to you. Please modify your application on the boards with the required info, and alert the member of management who contacted you that the changes have been made.

Things to consider when submitting an application:

- RCW restricts the use of any real wrestler as a pic base to one roster member at a time. Please note that all a worker's gimmicks are considered one wrestler, meaning if RCW had a wrestler on its roster with a Kane pic base, you may not use a Unabomb/Isaac Yankem/ Fake Diesel pic base.

- When writing entrances, please remember that RCW is a regional fed on a limited budget. RCW TV tapings have two relatively small LCD screens at either side of a curtained entryway, and the arena has an 80" projection screen. There is currently no room in the budget for pyrotechnics of any sort, so please do not include them in your entrance. As RCW grows, it's likely that our production budget will increase. At such time when such bells & whistles can be incorporated into an entrance, management will announce their availability.

2. TV/Arena Show Bookings

RCW TV airs from the Fayetteville Boys & Girls club, Wednesday nights on Fox16 in Little Rock.

Any active RCW member, unless they post that they will be unable to rp for a certain week(s) show, is considered able to be booked. Preferences as to whether you're in a competive match, or wish to feature your wrestler in a squash match, will be considered. RCW also features a Live Event Bulletin, this is comparable to the old TV territory days, or WWF Superstars. If you wish to be interviewed on the Live Event Bulletin, please contact a member of the staff via PM and let them know.

Anyone booked in a "jobber match" for Southern Dynamite is asked to post at least one rp during the rp period. If they do not, they will be considered a no-show and will be subject rule number 8. Please consider the jobber matches a showcase of what you can do. I think asking one rp in a week's time is not unreasonable, even if it is a squash match.

3. Roleplaying

For TV: Roleplaying for TV matches may begin after the posting of the previous TV and announcement of the current week's line-up, and will conclude promptly at 11:59 central Tuesday night. The best two rps count to your final score. There is no limit to the amount of rps you do in this time period, but remember, only the best two will be counted.

RP's may be posted straight to the board, or may be linked to an HTML page. Please keep in mind that RCW TV is aired on Local network TV in the Bible Belt. As such, there is to be no explicit nudity/sexual activity, drug use, or uncensored cursing aside from what is currently acceptable on broadcast TV. Blurred images and censored words ("M____f____", s**t, F$@#k, etc.) are ok.

The "Hog Heaven" arena shows have a best 3 rps count for scoring. Otherwise, the same rules from above apply.

4. Punishable RP Actions

The following infractions are NOT allowed in RCW:

- Use of another handler's character in any fashion unless given permission by said handler
- Use of RCW Play-by-Play or Color man, nor RCW Front Office AJ Supreme or Ben Jacobs, without RCW management's permission
- Plagiarism of a roleplay, either in whole or in part.
- "Recycling" of a rp or segment a handler has done previously or in RCW, while allowed, is frowned upon and WILL impact your rp score negatively.

RCW management reserves the right to deal with all above infractions in a fair and impartial manor. Potential penalties (based on severity of the infraction and/or whether said handler is a repeat offender) include point deductions, decision to nullify an rp in whole or in part, loss of booking, suspension, and in extreme cases, removal from the fed.

Any handler witnessing any of the above infractions are to contact management with available information. Any complaints will be investigated, and if requested, the reporting handler's identity can be kept confidential.

5. Match Writing

RCW roster members are encouraged and expected to write their matches for both the weekly TV show as well as "Hog Heaven" shows. Matches are due by 8 AM central, with no exceptions unless expressly stated, so that TV can be written promptly. Management will post weekly a sign-up for match writing volunteers. One or both handlers in a match may handle match writing duties, and collaboration is encouraged. However, unless told otherwise by management, or if the match has been previously decided to be angled, please either include no match finish, or two match finishes, one with each side winning.

TV Matchwriting Notes: Please again remember that RCW is a regional fed which makes the majority of its income from its "Hog Heaven" arena shows. As such, TV matchwriters are encouraged to "finish" their matches in ways that keep fueds/upcoming arena show match-ups well anticipated. Ex. count outs, heel rolling up tights to win or using foreign object, dq victories, etc. Arena shows are designed to have conclusive finishes.

Squash matches, as by their nature, are one-sided quick victories, so matches are not anticipated to be very long. While jobbers are not expected to have offensive maneuvers, please do not write for the jobber to be stretched out, seriously injured, etc without clearance from a member of management.

6. No Real Wrestlers

You can have a picture based off of a wrestler, the only thing we ask is you not give your character the real name of a wrestler. (I.e. Cena, Edge, Batista, etc...) ALSO do NOW use any reference to real wrestlers in your roleplays. The RCW is in a different universe than the real wrestling world. Breaking this barrier may affect your roleplay score in a negative manner.

7. Scoring Guidelines

All rp's done for RCW (except for jobber matches) are judged based on the following criteria:

Formatting - Takes into account the layout of the rp. Also, how does the writing flow? Is it long enough to convey everything presented? Is it relatively free of spelling and grammar mistakes?

Character Development - How well does the rp establish the wrestler as a 3-dimensional character?

Focus - Does the rp get across all the things going on involving this character in RCW? Does it sufficiently address the opponent for the upcoming match?

General Appeal - How entertaining/good would someone not affiliated with the fed find the rp? Would it make them interested in what the character's doing and where they're headed?

For TV, each category counts 5 points/ea for a max possible score of 20. For "Hog Heaven" arena shows, each category is worth 25 points/ea for a max of 100.

8. No Shows

Anyone who is booked for a match, either for Southern Dynamite or Hog Heaven, and does not post any rps for their match will not be booked again, nor will any of their segments appear on a show, until 2 role plays have been posted by that wrestler on the character development board.
