I  was born in the year 901 in a tiny village in what is now called
The Middle East. The Fourth daughter of poor parents, in a world where
females were nothing more than coin of the realm. The year I turned seven
my Mother bore another girl, my father called my younger sister and myself
to his chair. There were too many mouths to feed, the older sisters were sold
or wed. Damma and I were turned out into the streets, to either learn to
survive or to die. He made it plain either one would suit him. I made sure we
survived. Damma was five, tiny for her age and my baby. I made sure she ate,
she had a place to sleep, and that she was safe.
My senses were sharp, I learned to trust them, and this is called survival. From
almost the first I could feel eyes on us, knew we were being watched, but could
never spot the one who spied on us. Then one day we were in a small caf, we
had stopped for a cup of the sweet Turkish coffee Damma so loved, when he
approached us. Thinking him just another wealthy, old one, wanting to help
the children, we went with him. Little did we know that our lives would be
forever changed. Taken to Alamut, we found a family and hope. We were trained
in all the ways of the Rafiq, learning to use a blade as well as we could use our
fingers. Thus we gained our maturity, becoming the best was my passion, while
Damma learned to follow only the road of the Holy Warrior.
The year I turned eighteen I was deemed ready, that was the year of my
embrace, the year 919. The day I died to this mortal life is a bittersweet memory
for me. That was the day I forever lost the ability to show emotion. Smile? Not
before the kafir, allow surprise to show in your eyes? Not if there were munafiqun present. The next hundred years saw to my education, I was taught the art of taqiyya learned of umma, became one of the Rafiq.

like  all my clan I follow the Path of blood, { Diablerie: the drinking of  the blood of older vampires to gain their powers}.
Mine is an on going story, in Celestia City.
