Justin blinks. "Oh. Well, that's settled, then." Blade dissipates as suddenly as it'd formed, but he maintains his ready stance. Unless she's learned to control it, he's still going to have to survive The Justice himself. Razz stepped forward and walked through the hole, ignoring Justin's presence completely. Looking around, her blazing eyes seems to have confirmed that the ancient is, for the moment, out of her reach. The glow abruptly faded, even as scents of burnt flesh filled the room. Razz fell to the floor, her limp no longer able to support herself. This time, however, she remained conscious, barely. Justin was, erm, obviously expecting more than that, or else he'd have been there to catch her. He doesn't /seem/ to rush to her side, but he's there quickly nonetheless, already speaking the first phrases of a healing spell. Razz looked up slowly, and saw Justin by her side... is this real? "Justin...?" Razz croaked, not knowing if this was merely another illusion. Justin nods slowly and clearly, still chanting healing. She must be gaining control; she's not burning herself out anymore. Still as close as makes no difference, though. Finishing a final aid, hopefully restoring a little strength to her, he leaves her side a moment and returns with a blanket, with which he restores her modesty, such as he can. Razz followed Justin's movements with her eyes, and was still unable to reassure herself that this is Justin. Talking hurt, but it's better than before. "Justin... you're Justin, right?" Justin nods again. "Justin, yes. Glad you remember. Are you, ahh... do you have any idea where we are?" Razz reached out for Justin's hand, indicating that she wants to hold it. "Crulath's castle, or something like that..." she paused. "How did you find me?" Justin takes Razz's hand, and gestures vaguely outward with the other. "Mirai. She has no idea where here is either, though, other than that it's where you are." Razz frowned in concentration for a second. "Mirai... Oh... did you tell her I have her chocobo?" Justin blinks. "You, ahh... no, I'm afraid I forgot to mention it. I'm sure she can be informed later." He takes a look at the burns around the seals, and winces appreciatively. "Do you think you can move?" Razz shook her head slowly. "No," she murmured, and turned murky blue eyes onto Justin again. "Why did Crulath do that? I thought he was a nice person." Justin shakes his head, almost imitating her gesture. "At this point, I'm not even sure he is a person, nice or otherwise. But... right. I don't think we're getting out of here until Mirai returns." He reaches his arms under Razz, readying to lift her, and pauses. "Unless you'd prefer the floor?" Razz reached out to clutch at Justin's heavy coat. "This is fine..." she looked very tired, though not as much in the physical sense than in the emotions sense. "Justin... are you mad at me?" Justin shakes his head, again. He's been doing that a lot, hasn't he? "Not at all. By no stretch of the mind has any of this been your fault." Razz continued to look intently into Justin's eyes. "But I ran away... and I went to Crulath of my own will..." Justin holds a hand up to preclude further protest. "It's still not your fault, see. You had no reason to think he'd do anything like this." Razz nodded, slowly, because she's worn out. She remained silent for awhile then looked up again. "Why does this keep on happening?" Justin has no idea where to begin on the question. He's not even sure what're being referred to. He shrugs, elaborately. Razz looked up at Justin again, noting his lack of response. "Why does this keep on happening?" Justin shakes his head. "I don't know why, I'm sorry." Whatever Razz might think about it, /he's/ getting tired of the cold stone floor. Carefully, he lifts Razz, and even more carefully carries her back across to the bed and sets her down, and then looks around for a chair. No chair, shit. Guess he's standing. Razz raised herself into a sitting position, and gestured for Justin to sit down on the bed. "I remember somethings, now, while Crulath put that spell on me and locked me away in my mind." Justin shrugs. Or sitting. He takes a place near the end of the bed, and attends to Razz's words. "You remember things..?" Razz nodded. "I remember what happened before the river... some what. I remember how I left my world..." Justin is intrigued. "How did you? On good terms, I sincerely hope?" Razz shook her head. "I committed a horrible crime, I think... and powerful people placed these on me," she raised her arm to gesture at her tattoos. "And casted me out of the world." Justin might, were he a younger man, have a hard time associating Razz with 'horrible crime', but having seen the justice in action he has regrettably little trouble believing her. "Perhaps not powerful enough, it's starting to look like." Razz looked curiously at Justin, not quite understanding the comment. "And-" she paused, a frown coming onto her face. "Did something blow the lights out?" Justin hasn't noticed, to be entirely honest. Lack of light hasn't bothered him in a long time. "Perhaps when you sent him through the wall." Justin spends a moment to conjure a light ball, noticing rather embarrassingly as he finishes that it's in fact broad daylight. Well, that bodes ill. He waves the pinpoint of light before Razz's face, awaiting a reaction. Razz didn't even blink as Justin shined the light into her eyes. "Justin?" she asked, reaching out to search for his hand. Justin mutters something dismayed, and dispels the lightsource. "Can't see?" He catches her hand and holds it, and wonders how much it would actually impact /him/ to lose vision. Razz could feel that something's wrong by the sudden tensing in Justin's hand. "Justin? Open the curtains?" Justin doesn't shake his head, she couldn't see that. "No, you knocked a hole in the wall when you dealt with Crulath, opening the curtains would be redundant." Razz started, the familiar expression of confusion setting in on her face. "But it's morning..." Her eyes widened as realization finally dawned on her. "I can't see! Justin, I can't see!" Panic gripped her as she clutched tightly at Justin's hand, fearing of not being able to find it again if she lets go. Justin holds Razz's hand in both of his, and waits for her to calm slightly. "Shhhhhh. Has it ever happened before?" Razz clutched at Justin's hands with her other hand as well. Panic did not relent it's grasp on the girl, and tears tumbled out of her icy blue eyes. "No... Never...." she whimpered, grabbing ahold of Justin's arm. Justin supposes, unfortunately for any sympathizing he's going to be doing, that blindness wouldn't phase him very much at all. It must be horrible for her, though. "An effect of your power? Of the seals containing it, rather?" Razz bursted into tears, and tried to keep it down for the sake of trying to be calm. "I don't know," she whimpered again. Justin takes one of his hands from her grip and puts his arm around her. Unfortunately, it's quite likely that either the power or the seals' reaction has damaged her eyes, and such damage is well beyond his ability as a healer. Have to find a master, or else get her used to not seeing. Razz sobbed quietly into Justin's coat, not knowing how she can make do without her sight. Slowly, she quieted down... After all, Justin doesn't seem too worried, and his confidence helped her calm herself. Perhaps there's a way of fixing this. "Justin? Do you-" she started, but is unsure of how to go on with that question. Justin is even less sure how to answer it, incomplete as it is. There are a few likely guesses, though. "We'll find someone who can help," he reassures her, a bit vaguely. Razz nodded, and even manages a small smile. "Okay," she said quietly. Justin will know what to do...
