Following is a presentation of fonts, including letters of the following ancient scripts: Proto-Canaanite, Phoenician/Canaanite and Paleo-Hebrew (ancient Hebrew).
The scripts are presented in two tables. One table shows the evolution of script from the Proto-Canaanite (inspired by Egyptian glyphs) to the Phoenician/Canaanite and from the Phoenician to the Greek, to the Latin and to the Cyrillic. The other table shows the evolution of script from the Proto-Canaanite to the Paleo-Hebrew (a revision of the Phoenician/Canaanite script) and from the Paleo-Hebrew to the modern “Assyrians” Hebrew and cursive Hebrew and to Arabic.
The Proto-Canaanite, Phoenician, Paleo-Hebrew, Modern Hebrew and Arabic scripts are written from right to left and can be installed after downloading the Ancient Script Fonts zip file and the Common Fonts with Hebrew and Arabic zip file if needed. The Ancient letters are placed on the Unicode area of Hebrew letters of a fixed-spacing font.
