All children 5 years old and younger require a rest period each day. It is not required that they sleep, however, they are to remain quiet during this time. Alternate activities are provided for those who do not nap.
The schedule is followed as closely as possible. There are times though that the children get interested in something beneficial to them. I alter the schedule to allow such child directed learning experiences.
