Susan had bells on her toes.

They were six feet high and made a loud clanging sound.

The bells were pretty noisy too.

"Oh, dear!" said Susan. "These bells are such a nuisance. The colour does not match my feet."

"Then take them off," said Mummy.

    So she took them off.

"Oh, dear!" said Susan. "These bells are such a nuisance. The colour does not match my legs.

"Then take them off," said Mummy.

    So she took them off.

"Oh, dear!" said Susan. "These bells are such a nuisance. Their loud noise hurts my ears."

"Then take them off," said Mummy.

    So she took them off.

"Oh, dear!" said Susan. "These bells are such a nuisance. They are making my clothes dirty."

"Then take them off," said Mummy.

    "I can't hear a word you're saying," said Susan.
