The passing of Princess Diana and those who were with her in a tragic fatal car accident in the early morning hours of August 31, 1997 in Paris, France has left us with grief beyond words. It is a loss we shall never be able to replace. May we always be inspired by the humanitarian work the late Princess of Wales has done during the short 36 years of her life, cherish her compassion towards people who are suffering from AIDS, war, landmines, poverty, leprosy, and other maladies. May we all make it as our duty to do what we can to continue her work with such noble causes. May we also remember her free spirit and her courage to stand up to what she believes in. Without a doubt, she is one of the most magnificent personalities this century has ever seen. Our deepest sympathy goes to her family and the two children that she so adores: Prince William and Prince Harry. May god bless them all. Thank you to all of you who have send us e-mail expressing your condolences. The following is a sampling. -------------------------------------------------------- I wish to express my sympathy to everyone in the United Kingdom. My heart goes out to the two sons whom Diana loved so well. Being the mother of two children, I have admired Princess Diana for years for her openly expressed love toward her children and those less fortunate. Warmest Regards, Melanie Robb State College, Pennsylvania, USA -------------------------------------------------------- Dear Prince William and Harry, I am sorry to hear of your terrible lost. I lost a parent several years, and understand the sense of darkness you both may be experiencing. Friends and family were strong support for myself and my brother. I have a strong sense that my mother is still near and will always be near when I need. Please know the pain eases, but the memories keep to sane and strong. I believe Princess Diana's spirit and love will guide you through your lives and your bright futures. My grandma once told me that we as children carry on the best parts of our parents, and I believe this is one thing that has kept the smile in my heart and I pray in yours. Several years ago, I gave up a dream of being a print journalist due to the way the media had turned so biasest in their methods in gathering so called news. Unfornuately, not enough people agree with this opinion and your mother paid the price for the depths of low morals and ethics of print journalists today. Please remember the world loved your mother and have you both in their hearts and prayers, as well as, your whole family. May God and His Grand Love be with you, Kylan Fourth Generation American from Wales and Ireland ----------------------------------------------------- The world is sharing your sadness with the tragic death of Princess Diana...including me.
