KOREAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Myoung Dong Tofu Restaurant

The tofu dishes here are good.  They serve the rice in hot stone bowls.  Once you have finished eating the rice, there will be a crust of rice at the bottom and sides of the bowl.  Pour the remaining broth from your tofu dish into the rice bowl.  Give it some time so that the remaining rice loosens.  Then slurp away--it's really good.  The only drawback is that the food isn't quite as spicy as I would like it.  You'll also get numerous side dishes and the ubiquitous stick of melon-flavored gum.

The original restaurant is located in the same mall as Tokyo Lobby.  The food is pretty good.  I liked the Kal Bi and Tofu with Dumpling soup.  The Oyster Tofu was decent, but it wasn't as good as the other tofu dishes.  I think we had Jap Chae here, but I'm not really sure.  They also have some good combinations, so you can try a variety of dishes.  This place can get pretty crowded at times. haven't been to the Arcadia branch since they bought out the previous Korean restaurant at this location.  It is located in the Burlington Coat Factory mall.  You need to enter from the parking lot, which is located behind the stores.  It's a classic example of poor urban planning--appealling strictly to cars instead of pedestrians.  The menu indicates that Tofu Salad is available only in the San Gabriel location.

Its menu is very similar to the others, but it seems to have a few additional items.  The food was good, but I liked the food at Myoung Dong and Young Dong better.
