HONG KONG CUISINE
Hong Kong cuisine has its origins in Cantonese cooking but has a heavy Western influence due to the British occupation.  Hong Kong-style cafes, in particular, seem to be quite popular.  Their menus will include many classical Cantonese dishes (chow mein, stir-fried dishes, etc.) as well as Western dishes such as Cornish game hen, steaks, and fries.  Ordering Ovaltine with your wonton noodles can be pretty disorienting if you're not expecting it.
Suggestions
1)  Most of the suggestions for Cantonese cuisine apply to Hong Kong cuisine as well.

2)  Many Hong Kong-style cafes are open until the wee hours in the morning.  I've seen some open until 3 A.M.  Customers that late must have a serious case of the midnight munchies.

3)  They will often serve breakfast.  We're not talking about pancakes though.  They'll have toast, macaroni soup, rice porridge, and things like that.  Of course, they'll have Ovaltine.
