QUIET
At times alone I wonder, if the world would be the same, If You didn't die for sin Yourself and give us all Your name. If, for some strange reason, You hadn't come at all Would we ever really care, if there wasn't You to call? Would there be a time for silence, any time for peace or love? Any warmth inside for tortured souls, if there wasn't You above? Would all of us be drifting in and out of life itself, Or would there be some kind of solace in the worlds abundant wealth? I'm certain there's one answer in these questions that I dwell, Without You in this life of mine, it would be a living hell. No more griping and complaining, no more tearing things apart. What I really see the world needs now, is to take You in their heart. Quiet, I find peace and quiet, Contentment when my mind's on You. Life, I have You in my life, Faith in the fact that Your love is true. Silence, away from all the noise, Listen, I hear You call me... Quiet, I have peace and quiet Contentment when my mind's on You.
