My last position was Chief Photographer for a network program, which was an administrative position. I was staff photographer for Telemundo's "EDICION ESPECIAL", an "Entertaniment Tonight" in spanish. We were on the air 4-years. This program brought me in contact with people from the advertising, promotions, recording, broadcasting, and motion picture industries on a daily basis. I left due to the excessive travel required to do my job. I currently freelance in the Miami area. OBJECTIVE: A career makeover into a fulltime, long-term staff position with a company that offers a training program, a good benefits package, and a chance for growth within the company. EMPLOYMENT: To test the waters in other types of jobs, I have worked briefly in shipping and receiving at the new Dolphin Mall for BROOKS BROTHERS and OSHMAN'S SUPERSPORTS...both during their set-up and grand openings. I also worked with the DOLPHIN-19 CINEMAS as an Assistant Manager, for which I supervised the Box Office, Customer Service, and usher staff on a daily basis. 1996-1999 TELEMUNDO NETWORK, Hialeah. Duties: The loading, unloading, set-up and breakdown of production lights, cameras, and audio equipment on a daily basis. Working with producers, directors, and talent coordinators. As Chief Photographer I also ordered equipment and supplies as well as supervising the photo staff. 1975-1996 STAFF/FREELANCE cameraman, shooting/editing over 4000 news pieces and 2000 entertainment shows. Also wrote and directed 5 direct-to- video programs. I have worked coast-to-coast at various television facilities, including: KVEA, KWHY, KATU, KPTV, KWCH, KOAA, WHBQ, WRDW, and KBAK. 1971-1975 Clerical and sales positions with Universal Pictures and Cinema National Corporation. Also worked as a 16/35mm print inspector for Cine Tech and as a theatre projectionist. OTHER SKILLS: I sell collectibles on the internet, such as Celebrity Autographs, Vintage Movie Posters, vinyl LP records, videos, and 16mm movie film.
