The Smith Clan gathered in Loveland, Colorado in August 1992 for the 2nd Smith Reunion. The reunion was held at a city park in Loveland, but being in Colorado it
was a chance for some Easterners to vist the moutains, just a few miles west of Loveland. Estes Park just 45 miles west of Loveland up the Big Thompson Canyon was
the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park where deer, elk, rocky mountain sheep, chipmunks and many moutain views were seen. A few miles further to the top of the continental divide at 12,000+ feet were scenes from Trail Ridge Road.

The group had the benefit of a covered pavilion in the park in case of rain, but it was a beautiful sunny day.
The dinner was catered at noon and Kentucky fried chicken was brought in for late afternoon eating. Everyone had a good time catching up on what had happened since the 1st reunion in 1989 in Pennsylvania. There was a cake walk, volley ball, softball, badminton, games and an auction among the events. A little afternoon downpour of rain that lasted about 15 minutes didn't bother a thing but showed the quests how quickly Colorado weather can change.
