Station resupply also had special meaning for us in that our summering crew were going home, leaving just 19 of us winterers on the station. The end of summer celebration dinner was a very big affair, and along with the summering party, we also hosted the many people transiting on the ship who had helped us during the resupply and four Russian officers from the ships crew.
