Learning how to operate the inflatable boats was great fun, a whole week of boating in and around Tinderbox and North Bruny Island in Tasmania. We had to wear dry suits to keep us warm, and the weather did turn a bit more nasty later in the week. The zodiacs are used down on the Antarctic continent to get to the islands and up and down the coast once the sea ice breaks out in summer.
