Clearly this is not a true whiteout, since we are on rock, but the conditions on the plateau behind us where whiteout. It is impossible to tell where the ice ends and the sky starts. These conditions are very disorientating on the ice plateau, and dark things (like people and rocks) often appear to be floating in 3-D whiteness.

This site is designed to be viewed at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If your computer can't handle this, it is time to get a new computer!
