Part of my work here at Mawson involves taking weather observations, including data collected from instruments carried aloft by weather balloons like this one. Meteorological data collected at Mawson is used for forecasting both here and in Australia, for Antarctic aviation operations, for climate records including climate change research, and for worldwide global model data.

This site is designed to be viewed at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If your computer can't handle this, it is time to get a new computer!
