The vastness of the Antarctic plateau and the mountains poking through it is very apparent in this photo of 3 of us on quads making our way across the sastrugi behind Mt Henderson. The sastrugi is often very hard packed and up to 2 foot high here, making for a bumpy ride on the quads.
