Evangeline Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Potter Place. Rev. Thomas Keenen, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, New London Wednesday 7:30 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Wilmot Scholarship Fund. |

Rayno, Well Known Farmer Dies Franklin N.H. Nov.18 Oliver Rayno a well known farmer in the Flag Hole district, died last night. He was born in Canada, April 19, 1853, and came to the state when young. He is survived by four sons and five daughters including Albert Rayno of Andover, LouisRayno of New London, Joseph and Wilfred Rayno of Franklin, Mrs. Elizabeth Bergeron of Fall River Mass. Mrs. Millie Ward of Andover, Mrs. Mabel Marceau of Whitman, Mass. Mrs. Alice White of Vancouver, B.C. and Mrs. Irene Sowa of Cranston, R.I. He leaves also a brother, Peter Rayno of Fort Ann N.Y., three half-brothers, William and Frank Rayno of Andover and Henry Rayno of Franklin, and two half-sisters, Mrs. .Elsie Smith and Mrs. Jennie Robie of Franklin. He attended St. Paul's Catholic Church. |

Ellen M Fellows Mrs. Ellen M. Fellows of Wilmot Flat died there of pneumonia last Thursday at the home of her oldest daughter, Mrs. Ernest Howard, of Mountain View Farm at the age of 81 years and 7 days. She was taken ill last Sunday and passed away without much suffering, and in such a beautiful way that we all might wish we could go the same way. She is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. George Sweatt of Warner and Mrs. Pascal Rayno, one brother George Towle of Roslindale, Mass., one sister, Mrs. Mary A. Ford of Franklin, and eleven grandchildren. The funeral services were held at the Freewill Baptist Church at Wilmot Flat. Rev. Mr. Wilson officiating. He spoke words of comfort and cheer to the bereaved ones. She was buried in Pine Hill Cemetery. She was a member of the Good Templar's and the Ladies' Aid society of the church. She was a dear good mother and grandmother as well as a kind neighbor and friend to all. |
