Well, it wasn't triplets.  While we need many children, I am relieved.  It was twins, though.  A boy, and a girl.  Jarla, the girl, is as healthy as Hope was.  She's a happy little baby.  Her twin brother, Neril, should live also.  He's small, very small.  He's being given special care, and his health is slowly improving.  Until we know whether Neril will live, we will not present either baby to the population.  They're not happy about it, but they will wait.  They have no choice.
Mutie has attached himself to Neril.  That cat is almost constantly around my tiny son.
I just put the both of them to bed.  Young Hope is staring in at them with wide eyed wonder, saying "baby baby, two baby!"
Alex, the father of my children, was in a short while ago.  He looks so happy when he looks at his children.
Looking now at Neril, I think he will live.  He now has color in his cheeks, and his breathing has become regular.  Heather will be here soon to check on him.  I'm hoping to be able to present my children tomorrow, or even tonight.  They will be a good surprise to everybody.  They know that I gave birth, but they do not know that there are two babies.  Not just one, but two.  Only one person besides us Ferts, and the doctor and trainees taking care of Neril, know that there are two babies.  That one other is a musician.  She's writing a song about the two (i think songs about babies are getting to be a habit.  hehe), which will be sung when the children are presented to the population.
Ah, I must go.  Heather is here.
