Jarla, Neril, and Hope saw their first rainbow.  They didn't understand the tears in everyone's eyes.  They get confused when they look at the adults and see tears.  They think "the bright light in the sky" makes us sad.  We've explained to them over and over that we're not sad, but happy.
The sun is out.  There isn't a cloud in the sky.  Oh the celebrating there will be tonight.  I'm sure it will be like nothing you've every seen.  Our first sunny day in years!!!  Already barrels of wine are being prepared.  Meat and vegetable are  being cooked.  Five bonfires are being prepared, instead of our usual one.
While Jarla, Neril and Hope don't understand what's going on, they've been caught up in the excitement of today's events.
I am pregnant again.  While I wish it could have been otherwise, it is not Alex's child.  Yet he will help raise this child with me, and he will love this child as he loves his own.
Robert is now a full healer, and soon will be taking on students of his own.  The care of myself and my unborn child has been given into his capable, however young, hands.  He was such a quick learner.
Now I must go check on Hope's mother.  Heather and Alex were with her the last I knew.  She's grown very ill.  We hope she recovers, but Heather and the other healers have no idea what is wrong, nor how to cure it.  It seems that with our "new age" we also have some new diseases.
