I love bears and crafty stuff.
How do I start this? I guess I'll tell you all
a little about me. I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and went
to college at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
I graduated from there
with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I enjoy cooking, crafts,
and reading, as well as,
beating Audrey at games. I absolutely love teddy bears, with Audrey
being my favorite one.
What else is there to say? I'm a pretty boring person.
Well I know Audrey had her own little page to introduce you to herself
and we also had the page
about the two of us where we talked about our relationship, but her I'm
going to talk about Audrey again.
I'm going to talk about the stuff she won't tell you about and the stuff
she would never claim she did.
She likes to pretend she's this tough, hard person who isn't sensitive
and would never do stuff like that, but now you will all know the truth.
Audrey is one of the most romantic, caring and wonderful people you could
ever meet.
I love her so much with all my heart. She is so wonderful, and not
to mention sexy.
She is always surprising me and making up creative dates and ways to tell
me she loves me.
I will tell you about just a few of the surprises in what follows.
One of the first big surprises I can recall Audrey giving me was my very
own private prom on April 9, 1995.
Audrey knew I had always dreamt about going to the prom and wouldn't be
going so she decided to
create me my own prom when I went to visit her on spring break our junior
year of high school.
One night after everyone had gone to bed, she took me and had me close
my eyes. She then drove me
to a trailer her parents had bought ( I didn't know this until I opened
my eyes).
Then she had me wait in her blazer while she got things ready ( I had no
idea what was going on).
She walked me up to the steps with my eyes closed and then I heard the
song
"I'll Make Love to You" by Boys II Men playing. I opened my
eyes and we were inside the trailer.
She had music playing and candles lit. She told me welcome to my
prom, "The Last Dance".
We toasted the night with some kool-aid in wine glasses (I won't tell you
where she got them from).
We danced and talked and danced some more. I never wanted it to end.
It was a very special perfect night that means more to me than Audrey could
ever know.
Since we didn't get to spend my birthday together in 1995 Audrey decided
she'd give me a
special surprise when we were together that summer. She decided we
would celebrate my birthday then.
Since she didn't have an actual cake, my birthday cake was a banana moon
pie dessert
which we ate by candlelight. She also gave me a song that I knew
had a lot of meaning to her
and thus to me, "Will You Still Love Me?" by Chicago.
For our first Christmas at college, Audrey did the twelve days of Christmas
for me. For each of the
12 days before Christmas she would give me a little gift. One
day she gave me a yellow rose.
Another day she gave me a card good for 2 kisses. And another day
she gave me
a small glass candle that represented the fire and light of our love.
It was so wonderful, romantic and creative.
On our five year anniversary, Audrey decided to replay some memories from
the first five years
we had spent together because at the time five years felt like such
a milestone.
So in the hotel room we got she brought and did little things to remind
me of things
that had happened our first five years. She had the same oatmeal
cream cookies
to remind us of our first date. She had banana milkshakes from
Arctic Circle
for the time we had shared those. She got us Little Caesers
pizza to remind us of the pizza
we had gotten on our one year anniversary. She also played
different songs from these times.
It was so amazing and wonderful. It's always nice to
take a walk back through your relationship.
Audrey is not one for the ordinary she is always thinking of creative
things to do.
There was this one time when she wanted to ask me out for a date but didn't
just want to ask,
she wanted to ask in some creative way. So she made a
big message
on the building of our
neighbors apartments that was right in front of our window.
For dates she doesn't like to give the conventional gifts. One time
instead of giving me a flower,
she made me a
flower out of candles
. She gave me this when she took me on a date
to see the movie Grease, which I love and already had on tape, but it was
coming out in surround sound for the first time ever. Another time
she made me a flower using a pencil
and a piece of paper that she painted and put on the end of a pencil
in the shape of a flower
. Since I love teddy bears and love to decorate the house for the
holidays,
on one date she gave me a bunch of Christmas teddy bear clings.
Audrey has done so many more things for me. For one Valentine's
Day she set up our own version of
the Dating Show and I won a date with her. Our junior year
when I went to visit her for Spring Break
I ended up getting the chicken pox and had to stay through Easter.
It was our first Easter together.
Since I couldn't leave the house instead of going on a picnic
with the whole rest of her family,
she stayed home with me. She hid easter eggs for me (which
we never did find all of)
and had some special notes and instructions for me to follow.
For one of my birthdays, she had me play her version of Supermarket Sweep
and I won all my
favorite
foods (along with many other presents)
. This last birthday, she set up a hotel room in our house,
with room service, massage service, continental breakfast and everything.
It was so great.
When I got home from work one night, she had set up a Blind
Date for us based on the
Blind Date T.V. show where we did all kinds of activities and she
had all kinds of stores and shops
that she made in our house. Just this Valentine's Day she made
up a game
where I got to do different tasks and different games to win and
buy prizes
and boy what great prizes they were. She is always surprising
me with cute drawings,
bubble baths when I get home from work, romantic dinners, and so
much more.
Just about every day I come home I have some type of surprise waiting for
me. Some days she'll
just rush me at the door and kiss and hug me. It's so wonderful
and all makes me feel so incredibly loved.
She always claims she doesn't know how to cook, but trust me that girl
can cook.
She's always making up and trying new things that taste delicious.
One day she even made
heart shaped pancakes. She made the pancakes and then cut them
into heart shapes
and even cut three into the shapes I, a heart and a U to say I Love
You.
Another night I came home from work and she had made french
fries and cut two of them into hearts.
Since Audrey is always doing wonderfully romantic things and I know there
are so many more
she will do and that I have forgotten I am sure I will update this
page often. Even so, there are so many things
Audrey has done for me that I could not even begin to talk about
them all
or you would be here reading forever, but if you ever want to know
more of them,
just ask me and I will tell you.
