Former Trail Blazers superstar Clyde Drexler has his jersey number ritired in Portland. The most populair player in Blazers franchise, a.k.a. 'The Glide' got No. 22 ritired last game.

Clyde played in Portland 1983-84 through 1994-95 after being selected 14th overall in the 1983 NBA Draft. The Blazers traded Clyde on February 14, 1995. He and F Tracy Murray were traded to Houston in exchange for F Otis Thorpe, F Marcelo Nicola and a 1995 first round Draft pick. When Clyde played for the Blazers he was selected for the All-NBA first team (1992), All-NBA second team
(1988, 1991) and All-NBA third team (1990). Clyde left Portland as the All-time leading scorer with 18040 points, rebounder with 5339 rebounds and stealer with 1795 steals. Drexler had one of the best nights in his career, but the Blazer players didn't. In a game against Vancouver what should be a 100-40 victory, the Blazers played one of their worst games of the season. The Blazers fell short to the Grizzlies, 105-97. Shareef Abdur-Rahim was the topscorer of the game with 26 points, while the Blazers' scorers Scottie Pippen, Bonzi Wells en Damon Stoudamire scored 15 points each.
