Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you;
Blessed are you among women and
Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

AMEN

Hail Mary

The Annunciation of Mary from the Angel Gabriel (LUKE 1:28-33)(LUKE 1:41-42)is remembered in this prayer of honor, in the hope of Mary's intercession with Her Son, Jesus. We petition Mary our Mother, [While hanging on the cross, Jesus gave His Mother to John (JOHN 19:25-27) who represents all of His children, the Church] to pray for us from her position as Queen Mother of Heaven.

"Hail Mary" My salutation of honor, Mary, the salutation of Gabriel.
"full of Grace" the Grace of God. You are full of God's Grace, now and always from your conception.
"The Lord is with thee", His grace and His Spirit because you have conceived through the Holy Spirit.
"Blessed art thou amongst women", No one else is worthy, for you alone, our perpetual Blessed Virgin, have been full of grace from your birth.
"and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus"! Conceived in your womb, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is Jesus the Son of God.

"Holy Mary Mother of God;" Never knowing man, but conceived by the Holy Spirit of God, you are the ever virgin Mother of Jesus, Mother of God.
"Pray for us sinners" As I ask my friends and family to pray for me in my time of need, so I ask you, O my Blessed Mother to pray for me, intercede for me, with your Son, Jesus Christ.
"now and at the hour of our death".
"AMEN"
