The Christian Sabbath was called the Lord's Day by the early
Christians.
Acts 20:7. And on the first day of the week, when we were assembled to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, being to depart on the morrow.
And he continued his speech until midnight.
1 Cor. 16:1-2 Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints: as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also.
On the first day of the week, let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him: that when I come, the
collections be not then to be made.
Apocalypse 1:10 "I was in the spirit on the Lord's day..."
We are to keep the Sabbath holy.
Exodus 20:8-10 "Remember that thou keep holy the sabbath day.
Six days shalt thou labor, and shalt do all thy works. But on
the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt
do no work on it..."
