The grace of God preserves our life
Job 10:12. Thou hast granted me life and mercy, and thy visitation
hath preserved my spirit.
Psalms 93:17-18. Unless the Lord had been my helper, my soul had
almost dwelt in hell. If I said: My foot is moved: thy mercy, O Lord,
assisted me.
The grace of God preserves us from sin
Genesis 20:6. And God said to him: And I know that thou didst it with
a sincere heart: and therefore I withheld thee from sinning against
me, and I suffered thee not to touch her.
The grace of God preserves our soul
John 6:44-46. No man can come to me, except the Father, who hath
sent me, draw him. And I will raise him up in the last day. It is
written in the prophets: And they shall all be taught of God. Every
one that hath heard of the Father and hath learned cometh to me.
Not that any man hath seen the Father: but he who is of God, he
hath seen the Father.
We are saved by God's grace
Romans 3:22-24. Even the justice of God, by faith of Jesus Christ,
unto all, and upon all them that believe in him: for there is no
distinction. For all have sinned and do need the glory of God. Being
justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus,
God sends his grace out of love for us
Deuteronomy 7:6-8. Because thou art a holy people to the Lord thy
God. The Lord thy God hath chosen thee, to be his peculiar people
of all peoples that are upon the earth. Not because you surpass all
nations in number, is the Lord joined unto you, and hath chosen
you, for you are the fewest of any people: But because the Lord hath
loved you, and hath kept his oath, which he swore to your fathers:
and hath brought you out with a strong hand, and redeemed you
from the house of bondage, out of the hand of Pharao the king of
Egypt.
God's grace is in accordance with our need
Psalms 93:19. According to the multitude of my sorrows in my heart,
thy comforts have given joy to my soul.
We are blessed in God's grace
Matthew 5:3-12. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the
land. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall
have their fill. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God. Blessed are the
peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed
are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and
persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my
sake: Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven.
For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.
God's grace takes many forms
1 Corinthians 13:13. And now there remain faith, hope, and charity,
these three: but the greatest of these is charity.
Galatians 5:22-23. But the fruit of the Spirit is, charity, joy, peace,
patience, benignity, goodness, longanimity, mildness, faith,
modesty, continency, chastity.
God's grace does wonders in the world
Acts 4:29-30. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant
unto thy servants that with all confidence they may speak thy word,
By stretching forth thy hand to cures and signs and wonders, to be
done by the name of thy holy Son, Jesus.
se three: but the greatest of these is charity.
Galatians 5:22-23. But the fruit of the Spirit is, charity, joy, peace,
patience, benignity, goodness, longanimity, mildness, faith,
