Luke 1:26. And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth,
1:27. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David: and the virgin's name was Mary.
1:28. And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
They have a charge over us.
Matthew 18:10 (Jesus is speaking to his disciples) "See that you
despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that
their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is
in heaven."
Hebrews 1:14 (Paul is speaking of angels) "Are they not all
ministering spirits, sent to minister for them, who shall
recieve the inheritance of salvation."
They offer up our prayers.
Apocalypse 8:4 "And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of
the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel."
They pray for us.
Zacharias 1:12 "And the angel of the Lord answered, and said: O
Lord of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem,
and on the cities of Juda, with which thou hast been angry?
This is now the seventh year."
