The son she carried inside her was God, so she is the Mother of
God.

Luke 1:35 "And the angel answering, said to her: The holy Ghost
shall come upon thee, and the power of the most High shall
overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born
of thee shall be called the Son of God."

Galatians 4:4 "But when the fulness of the time was come, God
sent his Son, made of a woman, made under the law..."

Her cousin Elizabeth recognized her as the Mother of God.

Luke 1:43 (Elizabeth is speaking to Mary) "And whence is this to
me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?"

The following is attributed to Mary.
Canticle of Canticles 6:8-9

"One is my dove, my perfect one is
but one, she is the only one of her mother, the chosen of her
that bore her. The daughters saw her and declared her most
blessed: the queens and concubines, and they praised her. Who is
she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon,
bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in battle array."

Her Immaculate Conception is indicated by the following verses.

Genesis 3:15 (God is speaking to the serpent in Eden) "I will
put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her
seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for
her heel."

Luke 1:28 "And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail,
full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among
women."

Canticle of Canticles 4:7 (The beloved can be seen as a figure
of Mary who truly is all fair.) "Thou art all fair, O my love,
and there is not a spot in thee."

Mary's conception of Jesus was virginal.

Isaias 7:14
"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign.
Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and his name
shall be called Emmanuel."

Matthew 1:22-23 (The author is speaking of the events
surrounding the conception of Jesus.) "Now all this was done
that it might be fulfilled which the Lord spoke by the prophet
saying: Behold a virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a
son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being
interpreted is, God with us."

Even after she was betrothed to Joseph, Mary intended to remain
a virgin.

Luke 1:34 (The angel has just told Mary that she will conceive a
son.) "And Mary said to the angel: How can this be done, because
I know not man?"

Mary remained a virgin at the moment of the Lord's birth.

Isaias 66:7 "Before she was in labor, she brought forth; before
her time came to be delivered, she brought forth a man child."

Her assumption and queenship are suggested by the following
passage.

Apocalypse 12:1 "And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her
head a crown of twelve stars..."

She is our co-redemptrix.

Luke 2:34-35 "And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his
mother: Behold this child is set for the fall, and for the
resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign which shall be
contradicted; and thy own soul a sword shall pierce, that, out
of many hearts, thoughts may be revealed."

Mary is our mother.

John 19:26-27 "When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the
disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman,
behold thy son. After that he saith to the disciple: Behold thy
mother. And from that hour the disciple took her to his own.

She is to be venerated.

Luke 1:48 "Because he hath regarded the humility of his
handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call
me blessed."
