GOD
Is a pure spirit and self-existent
Exodus 3:14. God said to Moses: I AM WHO AM. He said: Thus shalt
thou say to the children of Israel: HE WHO IS, hath sent me to you.
John 4:24. God is a spirit: and they that adore him must adore him in
spirit and in truth.
God is one
Deuteronomy 6:4. Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.
Deuteronomy 32:39. See ye that I alone am, and there is no other
God besides me:
God is infinite and eternal
Job 36:26. Behold, God is great, exceeding our knowledge: the
number of his years is inestimable.
God is unchangeable
Malachi 3:6. For I am the Lord, and I change not: and you the sons

God is omniscient
Ecclesiasticus 39:24. The works of all flesh are before him, and there
is nothing hid from his eyes.
God is almighty
Wisdom 16:13. For it is thou, O Lord, that hast power of life and
death, and leadest down to the gates of death, and bringest back

God's justice is perfect
Deuteronomy 32:4. The works of God are perfect, and all his ways
are judgments: God is faithful and without any iniquity, he is just
and right.
God is merciful
Psalms 24:10. All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them
that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
Psalms 32:5. He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the
mercy of the Lord.
God loves everyone
Romans 8:32. He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered
him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
God wants all people to be saved
1 Timothy 2:4. Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the
knowledge of the truth.
