When they finally stopped moving, they noticed that they were in a dark room, with a large painting of the moon in front of an altar. Again, the voice talked to them, "Welcome to my home, digidestined." A small figure walked towards them. It looked like a little girl, with a long gown on and long flowing hair. She was also very pale. "I am Semimon, the protector of the Northern gate of both worlds. I called you up here because I felt a disturbance inside of the gate. Time has stopped in both worlds because of it." Cody, summoning all of his courage, asked her, "Why has TK been trying to destroy us? Why has time stopped? What else is going on?" "Those are all very good questions, child." said Semimon, "The TK you saw on the street was a shadow. Shadows can only exsist in the seconds outside of time. In order for this shadow to be seen, time had to stop. This shadow used the powers of darkness to cause time to stop." "I don't understand what you mean by shadow. I also don't understand why TK, who hates the powers of darkness a lot, would use them to stop time." said Ken. "You see," continued Semimon, "Like I said, that TK is a shadow. I am sure that the evil ones who stole him separated TK into two shadows. When a person is not whole they become shadows. All of the hatred, even that towards the powers of darkness, went into one TK, and all of the good and light went into another TK. The light TK I think has been locked away by the evil ones so the bad one has no competition. The only thing that can stop a shadow is the other half." she stopped. "I called you up here to tell you where the other TK is located, so that you may free him and save both of our worlds. Because if you don't," again she paused, "both worlds will be destroyed by the evil TK." "Wow, I didn't know he had it in him." said Yolei. "But can't we just destroy the evil shadow?" "No!" screamed Semimon, "that is the last thing you need to do. If you destroy the evil TK, then TK will never be able to reunite with him into a person again. The good TK would be stuck as a shadow for all time, and so time would never comense. Also," she said, continuing, "you can't possibly destroy the bad TK on your own. Although time has stopped and he is visible, he only enters the tepermental plain to attack you with energy balls, so the only time you could hurt him is if he attacks you. But, I didn't bring you up here to talk, I brought you to find the good TK and save our worlds. He is located in the digital world, inside of the old temple on File Island. In order to break him loose of the bond that holds him there, all you have to do is lead him out of the tunnels. Now, you have your information. Go, and save the world." So the digidestined departed. Would they be able to find the good TK? Would Semimon have anymore part of this adventure? What will the bad TK do to remain in power? Whatever will happen next? |
