Unforgotten Remains: Part Two
By Michelle Bruan

The digidestined met at Kari's shortly afterward. Besides their original e-mail they had recieved from whoever had their digimon, they had gotten a new one. It read,

Digidestined.
The clock is ticking away, and your digimon's lives are becoming close to ending. Why don't you send us what we want? We know you have it, and we want it, the sooner the better for your digimon. You have one day left before we can put up with this nonsense any longer and will be forced to kill your digimon and come after you. We are serious, and we intend to be taken that way.

"What should we do?" asked Ken. "There isn't much we can do." said TK, "considering we don't even know what it is that they want. We don't even know who they are." "I have an idea," said Cody. The other digidestined looked up with interest. "Maybe we should reply the message, and ask what it is they want and who they are. It's better than just sitting here doing nothing." "Cody's right." said TK. He pulled out his D-terminal and started to write a reply to them. It said,

What do you want? We can't possibly give it to you if we don't know what it is you want. Also, when we do get whatever it is you are searching for, how are we supposed to know who to give it to? We want our digimon back safe and sound, so please don't hurt them.
Digidestined

Almost a second after they sent the message, they received a new one, and this one was almost as confusing as the first two,

Digidestined,
Your subtle pleaing has found favor with us. We wish to possess the darkness that one of you has buried in his or her hearts. That evil is so emense we can feel it just by reading your letter. Please bring it to us at once! And don't worry, when you arrive in the digital world, we will be waiting for you.

"Good job, Cody!" screamed Davis. "At least we know what they want." "Yeah, but who here possesses the darkness that they want?" asked Yolei. "It's probably me." said Ken, all of a sudden sounding very depressed. "Cheer up Ken." exclaimed Davis, "Sure you used to be the mean Digimon Emporer, but now you've changed and I can't say that you would hurt a fly. Don't worry, if it is you then they have nothing on you. They are probably a slow-poke group of evil digimon who still think you are the digimon emporer, that's all, so don't worry bout it, because when we get our digimon back we can kick their butts!" "Okay." said Ken. "So, basically, we've assumed that they want Ken, right?" asked TK. "Yeah." said Kari, "so lets go save our digimon!" Yolei performed her job of opening the digital gate and sent all of the digidestined sprawling towards the digital world. They hit some turbulence on the way, but other than that, it was a smooth ride there. Once they landed, they saw their digimon running full-out towards them. "Davis, Kari, Ken, TK, Cody, Yolei, thank you for saving us from those evil people." they exclaimed. "Where are they?" asked Davis. "you know, the people that inprisoned you?" "They let us out and said they had what they wanted just a minute ago." answered Veemon. A few more moments of joy were exchanged by the reunited digimon and digidestined until Patamon shattered it. "Hey you guys, was TK sick or something or couldn't make it to the digital world?" Davis and the others looked around. "Hey, were is TK?" asked Yolei. "He is here with me." The children whirled around and saw TK's lifeless-looking body dangling out of the arms of a tall and dark man. "We thank you for this, and in return offer you digimon back. Now we finally have the one thing that will at last destroy the digital world!" The man and TK both dissapeared in a cloud of smoke. What could that man possibly want with TK? Was the darkness that would destroy the digital world really nestled in to TK's past? Is TK even still alive? What could possibly happen after this?
