"The Day that Lady Liberty Cried"

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

An Australian Families view

Our families experience in the USA leading up to New York September 11 2001

This is not a book, in fact I would not have any idea on how to write a book. It's simply putting my families experience in America, which took in a stay in New York and witness the horror unfold during September 11. Perhaps this is just my way of dealing with it.

What will follow will be what we saw, witnessed, laughed at and cried at. To just put to paper New York would not be right, therefore the entire trip is here. Taken from a daily diary that I wrote in everyday to capture the memories. Sara, my daughter had also kept a diary and her extracts will also be included. Word for word, unedited. Photographs were taken be Gina, my loving wife. At times the words, sentences and stories may jump from place to place or from time to time, but bear in mind that this was written day to day, moment to moment, and is presented the same way to you.

Not a day goes past that we don't think, hear or read about the events of September 11. Everybody wants to know what it was like.

Dedicated to all those who lost their lives and to all those who have been effected in some way.

We are all victims.

This is a copy of my travel journal.
