"The 20th Century"

Ramona & I were married on March 17, 1957, and we have been together for over 47 years. As we continue into the 21st century, we hope that peace and good will , will  be the path of all people, as they live out their lives here on earth. I must ask for you to say a prayer for Ramona& myself, as both of us have been very sick in the past few years. We both thank you for those prayers.

We have two daughters, Deborah Loretta, and Patricia Ann. We lost Patricia to cancer in 1994, and she is missed every day of our lives. We hope that in our lifetime, cancer will be defeated, and all people can live out their life without that fear. Our time here on earth is governed by only one , and that is the great father above, who is always with us in our time of need.
This is one of the last pictures taken of Patricia and Deborah in thier last Christmas together. Deborah is still with us and is the one that is helping us cope with our loss.We are very proud of her as parents should be.

Our first grandchild, Amanda Rae, who has made us proud. Amanda was a good student in high school and is taking classes at Ivy Tech College as well as working a job and as a member of the Army Reserve. We are very proud of her as we know her mother would be. She soon will graduate from IUK, and will pursue the nursing profession. Patty would of been so proud of her.

Our second grandchild, Matthew, who too makes us proud. Matt will finish High School this year of 2004 and is working at Sears in his spare time. Both of these two children were born to Patricia and we know that she would be very proud of them too. Deborah is like a second mother to both of them. Matthew is trying to cope with the loss of his mother by trying to be the son she is proud of.

This page will start out with what happened in the 20th century and as it happens in the 21st century. So this will be a continuing contribution as it happens. So keep coming back to check out the latest. fell free to let me know by e-mail if you have anything to contribute, pertaining to both centuries.

This is one of the prettiest sights around. Whenever I see the "United States of America" flag waving, I think about all those who gave their lives so that we might stay free. When the national anthem plays, I get goosebumps and I get choked up. May we always salute the flag, and may we always live with faith in the "Great Father" above. With both of them in your heart, you will survive.

Prayer of your own choosing will help you in your everyday life. Just let God know that you need him.

Always be there for your fellow man.

The world as we know it  is one vast adventure. To God, it is his gift to us, to take care of until He comes to take it back,

The doorway to Heaven will always be open to all. All you have to do is to take that first step of the "Stairway To Heaven"

The candle burns for all those who have lost a loved one.

These eyes has seen a lot, but there is still so much more to see.

I have found out that you let a sleeping dog lie until he wakes up.

I wrote this story as a way to cope with the loss of our daughter, but also I wanted it for all to see, so that anyone who even thinks that they might have cancer, to get it checked right away. Cancer can be beat by prevention, and early dedection, So please in the memory of Patricia Ann, get a checkup today, and if you can, donate to your cancer society.
