Each of you has, in some way, given me a gift. There are those of you who are there when I just need someone to talk to, to laugh with, to cry with, to rejoice in accomplishments with me, to bolster me during set-backs. Others have given me something as simple as a nod of the head in acknowledgement on a bad day, a hug, a pat on the back, or a silly e-mail that brought a smile to my face.
My children give me their unconditional love, respect and support, and never ask for more than I am able to give. They truly make me feel blessed and proud to be their mother.
My grandchildren give me a new perspective on life by being able to look at the world once again through the eyes of a child.
My parents gave me life, love, encouragement and support, which helps me do things that might seem impossible.
I may not remember each of you by name, but I never forget the faces behind a kind word or gesture. Thank you for your kindness.
