PROCEDURE : Once you have determined that you would like my service,and feel you have aquired enough information,we will meet and share ideas. Initially, the subject should be available for a sitting. A design would be made and photographs will help fix the pose. If it is not practical for return sittings, I can work solely from photos if they are of some quality. After compositional studies are made and after mutual considering and your acceptance, I will proceed to the agreed upon medium . The final result will be not only portrait of the subject, but an interesting work of art you can be proud to display.
FEES :
OIL PORTRAITS - HEAD : $ 800 - approx. 24" x 16"
HEAD AND SHOULDERS : $ 1700 - approx.32"x22"
THREE QUARTER VIEW :$2500 - approx. 36"x 24"
FULL VIEW : $ 5000 - approx. 42" x 26"
Additional figures in painting :Add 50% of original price.
ADDITIONAL COSTS : PST.
Any travel expense, lodging requirements.
Specific indoor or outdoor backgrounds are priced in addition to the listed amount, otherwise the Sitter is depicted against a tonal background.
For pricing of portraits in other mediums - oil pastel, pencil, ink, watercolour contact me through mail , e-mail, or telephone.
75% of price is required at the time of the commission and is non - refundable.
The balance is due upon completion of the portrait.
Payment is with certified cheques only.
I will make suggestions for framing, but the actual framing is left to the client.
