Arigatou – thanks

Bishounen – pretty boys [also referred to as bishies]

Boi – boy

Doujinshi – comics written & published by someone other than the original author

Fanservice – yumm….. *evil grin*

Hai – yes

Hana – flower

Hime – princess

Hotto – hot

Hounto ni -  really

Iie - no

Irasshai - welcome

Kami – god

Kawaii – cute

Kirei – beautiful, pretty

Manga – comic book

Musume – girl, daughter

Ne – kind of like “isn’t it?” or “doesn’t it?” [maybe even like ”right”]

Ningyo – doll

No – possessive word; example: hana no shoujo = flower’s girl, or girl of the flower

Oishi – delicious, ‘yummy’ ^^

Ooi – ‘HEY!’

Ookami – wolf

Otaku – enthusiast, fanatic

Rakuen – paradise

Sama – very respectable suffix for a name

Sankyuu – thank you

Saru – monkey

Sekushii – sexy [say it fast^^]

Shoujo – girl

Shounen ai – boy love

Sugoi – amazing, earth-shattering

Urusai – annoying; when shouted at a person it really means “SHUT UP!”

Utsukushii – beautiful

Zutto – always, forever
