Captain Responsibilities

Captains are responsible for agreeing to a time and completing their game within the given time frame.  Captains also assign officials, and are responsible for having one team member officiate a game per a week.  The league will assist captains in scheduling officials.  (Officiating ? contact Kevin Penza) Captains are responsible for filling out and giving the league their game registration form three days prior to their scheduled game or the Friday before their next week day game.  Forms can’t be filed on the weekend.  This includes trades.  Captains failing to present documentation of agreed game registration will result in a loss.  Both captains must return these forms.  Officials will then pick up the gear (flags stop watch whistle and field markers).  One official is responsible for the time and the other is responsible for keeping a score card.  The field markers will be placed based upon the measurement string (string will have markings that show the width and length of original field.  All games are preferred to be played at Argonne Park if possible. Games and times will be posted on AJBFL website www.geocities.com/rayallen55/ajbfl.html.  As will the standings. Please gain the signatures of all your teammates and return this form before your first game. Finally if you would like we would post articles on individual games on the net if you are willing to write them.  Notice the rule changes- play clock 20 seconds and no ready signal needed.
