Miranda

29/03/2003

I left home at 7 am in the morning just to catch the bus to make sure I'll be there early enough to get a good spot. Again, like the last time I met Delta, City Rail has this railwork again! It means that I have to go to Miranda from Hurstville by bus. I should have arrived at Miranda at 8:46 am. But instead, I arrived at 9:05 am. When I got to the centre court, the first row has already been filled. So I just ran and picked a pretty good spot. When people start to stand up, I was able to get into the first row.   Then they announced that Delta will be signing, performing and signing again. And the Sony music guy told us in the first row that we will be the first ones to get up on the stage because we've been waiting for a long time. When I looked at at the back, I just realised how big Delta is now. Compared to Roselands, this crowd is really big. Then she came and signing. When I got on the stage, I was surprised that she still remember that she have met me before, although she's a bit confused with my real name(so, she just wrote my first three letters). Took some photos and give her a gift, then lining up again to see her perform. At the beginning, there was a problem with the sound. But I still can hear her singing beautifully. She was singing "Born to try" and "Lost without you". Then, the first three or four rows have to get out of the queu because we already met her. I was waiting for her to leave because I was waiting to take one of her posters home. I went home a happy man. It was like the best six hours I had so far. My name is ray-ree, and this is the longest day of my life.......hehehe.
Here are some pictures, enjoy!
