Conversion Headlights

This really isnt a great picture, and I will work on taking a better one, but you can kinda see from this the color difference. The lights don't have the typical yellowish tint to them, and they are only slightly blue, not as blue as some of the local cars I have seen around here at least. They definitely seem like they do a better job of lighting up the road as well.

This is a shot of the assembly, basically what I did was pick up a standard 3 prong headlight socket at Pep Boys, $2 each, and soldered on male connectors on the end, so that way I wouldn't have to cut off the original socket, I just plugged it right into the original socket. The H4 bulbs use a European pattern for connecting, so I fixed the differences when I created my new socket.
Here is a pic of the types of connections (standard Capri is an H4666):

The bulbs that I used in the top picture aren't the one's that came with my assembly. I got the ones in the pic from JC Whitney, and they were on sale when I got them a few days ago for $7.99. Their catalog # is 07UT6070P if anyone is looking for something similar. They are Xenon H4 halogen bulbs, 60/55 watt. I also replaced the bulbs in the Hella fog lights that I got from Pat, also from JC Whitney, $6.99 each, part # 47UT0793N, and they are 55 watt H3 Xenon halogen bulbs. The color of the headlights and foglights match, so it looks nice. If anyone wants more info, you can email me at either of the addresses below, I am subscribed to the list with both:
