| The Moderate Party and Why I Support it | ||||||||||||||||
| Balance of Power: The current political system that consists of two parties doesn't have a full balance of power. The main reason of that is because of few available options. On any particular issues, you may not agree w/ the views of either parties on that issue . By not agreeing w/ either on the issue, you are not a true Democrat or Republican; if you agree on a Moderate alternative, then you are probably a Moderate. In our current political structure, we need middle ground. I hope and predict that one day, The Moderate Party will become one of the most popular political parties in America. Moderates seek to offer solutions in more rational, moderate proposals. Communication and Community: Citizens deserve to have more say in the political process. Myself and other Moderates feel so too. To strive in active involvement in the political process, one of the Moderate Parties goals is to have communication between concerned citizens more friendly. Coordination with online access to communicate is something that the Moderate Party strives for that members discuss matter that concern them; this may involve a connection between Moderate party members and the political headquarters. Online communication is important to get messages across about current matters that concern anyone. One objective of the Moderate Party is to have a connection between believers of moderation and politicians and the community as a whole. Platform: The Party doesn't think that morality shouldn't be legislated; such as the issue of abortion; which is a moral issue rather than a political one. The Party doesn't believe in imposing morals on its members from other people; just that it should set admirable moral tone on its members. The Party likes to focus its attention on real issues. A true consensus will be sought among party members in order to develop a stance after each element of an issue is considered carefully and completely. The party's positions on issues will fall in line with its philosophy. Currently (as of when this homepage was created), an overall platform is being discussed and debated by Moderate Party activists.
