to know that their show's been 'officially' axed. The fight goes on.. find out more at the official Club Cow site . Thanks to Nicole who tells me that Wild FM Brisbane is still waiting for the ABA to confirm their next broadcast dates. More news when I can get it.. and YOUR present will arrive when this site turns one year old!
Sorry for the lack of updates.. had the 'flu last week. :(

Not much happenning at this stage in the world of Hitz and Wild.
(I'm hoping to do a big update re Wild FM Brisbane soon, though) In non-radio news, I saw Jewel live on Friday night in Sydney.. and it was cool! A mate beat that though.. she visited his work (he's in the media too) and to paraphrase Daz, she's a babe! (jealous, jealous, jealous..) Thanks to visitor 3,900 who dropped by on Wednesday. |

To update yesterdays' story.. Club Cow has been given a TEMPORARY reprieve..
but it's not 'happily ever after' yet, by a long shot. Fur further details, have a look at their site . On a happier note... Paul and Lisa's new CD Calamity Megamix One is selling well, and the track listing should ensure further sales. By the way, I mentioned that Hitz is back on the 31st of May.. I should add that the broadcast will end on July 10th. |

If you're a listener of CLUB COW on Eastern FM in Melbourne, please visit their site RIGHT NOW! They need your letter of support immediately, or else this Saturday will be their final show. Please give Paul and Lisa your support.. they're very talented announcers (and mixers) and Melbourne radio will be poorer in their absense. On a more trivial note, visitor 3,800 dropped by on Sunday. |

The Hitz FM site still appears to be in a timewarp..
but according to one source, the next Hitz FM broadcast will start on May 31st. (Just 10 days after Wild FM Sydney starts again) More news when it's available! |

Work's still busy.. not much news about.
The www.wildfm.com.au site has had a few cosmetic improvements.. hopefully the big 'update' will happen soon. Meanwhile in other web news, Hitz FM's Captain Turntable has a new wizzy webpage, (not too much content, but a good start) and it's located at http://coreylayton.webjump.com and there's even a link to an 'unofficial' Turntable page! With professional-looking link banners.. scary!! |

But the www.wildfm.com.au site has been updated, with some piccies of their Dec '98 end-of-broadcast party. In other news, I hope to update your re Hitz happenings soon! Thanks to visitor 3,700 who logged in on Valentines Day. |

'the Brisbane broadcast has been postponed' See Queensland will have to chill for a bit. Meanwhile.. the Hitz website still seems to be in hibernation. Thanks to visitor 3,600 who dropped in this week. |

Sorry for the break in transmission.. unfortunately I broke my computer.
To use a technical term.. I screwed the 'windows registry'. (This is known as a bad idea !) BIG NEWS! www.wildfm.com.au has been updated - it's now less 'Calista Flockheart' (ie thin) and has some good info.. including the new onair dates for Syndey and Brisbane.. Brisbane.. February 6 -> April 17. Sydney.. May 21 -> June 30. Meanwhile, the people in charge of Hitz FM's site appear to have been abducted by aliens !! Or is the station still on-air? ;) |

Hope you had a huge New Years!
The Metro had a monster night! Whilst in Melbourne, I was able to catch up with Andrew Gyopar (Hitz Station Mgr), James Ash, Captain Turntable, Julie Doyle, plus Rod "talking man" Cuddihy, and I'll upload some photos (taken at Hitz FM) soon. I also grabbed a copy of the new double Hitz CD "Hitz Two" Which has some cool tracks like Free -Bacon Poppers, If you buy this.. -The Tamperer, PLUS a new megamix by James Ash AKA Thunderchild! By the way, James' other project 'Union State' has a new single about to be released.. more news soon! |
