	June 28, 2000. Help compile the ULTIMATE Wild Fans' CD..
Wild News: Wild Sydney's final broadcast ends this Friday. To celebrate, for the next 10 weeks, we'll take your votes on your favourite tracks from the first 10 Wild CDs. Two tracks at a time, one CD a week. At the end of the 10 weeks, we'll publish the results, and who knows.. maybe it could be released... You'd better hurry up and vote for your faves on CD1... NOW! Hitz News: FINALLY! The official Hitz web site has awakened from it's slumber!.. The site announces that the next Hitz broadcast, (also their final test bcast) will start August 21.. hmm.. that crystal ball of mine needs a good service :(

Wild News: Thanks again to radio mag Music Network, we give you this week's updated list of songs Wild FM Sydney have started to play on air. Hitz News: The dates for the next broadcast are being finalised.. September... September.. damn! My crystal ball's fogged up again.. must have the 'flu. :( Also, I'm eager to hear from Hitz fans who have downloaded our new Hitz FM Wallpaper. (a) What do you think of it? 	June 18, 2000. Wild gets ready to party... Hitz FM: Does size matter?
Wild News: Well, if you want to know a bit more about what Wild Sydney is up to, you'd better get on to their site, and register your email address. If you'd done that before this weekend, you'd already know all this..... Wild FM will continue netcasting even when the radio broadcast finishes Wild's giant party is coming up on July 1, and here's the full details.. Hitz News: According to a post on our ~~Messageboard~~, Hitz will be broadcasting for a shorter time in September than expected. (?) Meanwhile, at Royce's Unofficial Hitz site, he's also hoping to do a Hitz Windows Wallpaper soon, and he reports that the official Hitz site is being worked on right now!

How you can help this site: Right now, there's a monster sale at Chaosmusic. Stacks of CDs (yeah, good ones!) are cut from around $30 down to $20 or less. 	June 7, 2000. Hitz info update.
Hitz News: If you're a Hitz member, you should receive your Hitz mini-mag this week. If you're not a member, and you'd like to be, go to our Hitz Info Page and contact them for a membership application. By the way, the Hitz snailmail (postal) address has just changed, so update your diary if you need to. Oh, and you might find something very scary in the Hitz minimag.. say no more...... :) Wild LICENSE News: An update re the Sydney License that Wild FM is applying for.. (Thanks to www.amt.org.au for this info) The ABA will hold a public hearing to help decide on the allocation of the three new Sydney-wide community radio licences. The hearing will assist the ABA in deciding the relative merits of the applicants. It is also a good opportunity for the applicants to highlight particular aspects of their case to the ABA in person. The hearing will be held in the Marconi Room at the Sydney Town Hall from Monday 14 August 2000. The three Sydney-wide licences will be allocated after the hearing.

Wild News: As you might know, Wild Sydney is back on-air NOW.. on 96.9 FM. What you may not know is that they are also netcasting, and you can hear them via this direct netcasting link . Of course, you need the current Windows Media Player to hear it.. if you don't have it, download it from the official Wild site. Site News: I've tidied up a few more things, and you might notice the new ' contact us ' section under 'General Stuff'.. (in that grey column) It links to email, messageboard, FAQ... PLUS a brand new form so you can write to us, even if the computer you're using won't let you use your email! Also, thanks to the people who have already told me they voted for this site in the ONYA awards. If you'd like to do the same, that would be great. (click on that big red square!) Hitz News: I've even got some Hitz news coming, but you'll have to wait!

Site News: Yeah.. like our birthday! ( rawwildhitz turned 2 years old last Sunday ) To celebrate, I've been working on STACKS of new stuff, including the long-awaited Hitz FM Wallpaper! You'll see quite a few surprises here over the coming weeks.. By the way, I've improved the graphics on our Wild CD pages , and this is still the only site on the net where you can look up ALL of the Wild or Hitz CDs and get every track listed.

Wild News: Wild FM Sydney's Manager, 'Gogo' once confessed to me that his fave song is some ancient thing called Rock the Boat.. Of course, he may have been talking favourite 'hobby' rather than song. It makes more sense if you have a look at this article from Sydney's Sun-Herald in our scrapbook.

Wild News: Well, of course, WildBris is onair now.. and Nicole has this quick report.. Wild Brisbane is back - and we are loving it! We have moved out of the ol' neighbourhood.. and into a bigger and better location in Paddington. We have painted and sound proofed out little hearts out and all is swell! I liked your rumour about us becoming "A Classic Hits station"... Ahh.. yes... the beauty of moving suburbs and ISP's... :) Wild LICENSE News: Expect lots more on this topic in coming months! All the applications for Sydney-wide community radio licenses have been uploaded to the ABA website. The ABA is calling for public submissions NOW. If you're in Sydney, and want to hear Wild FM on your radio 24hrs/7day/365.. then you MUST put your submission in before April 20. Have a think.. read the license applications and if you think Wild should be on full time.. tell the ABA why!
	April 6, 2000. 4 Days till Wild X arrives.. and we've got the WHOLE tracklisting..
Wild News: Well, Wild FM CD 10 is almost here.. And once again, we have the CD tracklistings for you first! In license-type news, Wild Sydney's application is one of 17 groups that are going for a Sydney-wide community FM license. No word at this stage on how long the process will take. And if you're in Brisbane.. Wild FM's on your radio now! Hitz News: Thanks to Jerome, the acting station manager of Hitz, we have the next broadcast date.. September '00 for seven weeks. (Subject to approval of course) The ABA is also going to ask for applications soon, (probably July/August) so if you're not already a Hitz member, the St Kilda Rd crew would love to hear from you to strengthen their case for a permanent license. Other News: If you've been to our new links page, you may have been to Royce Cocciardi's Unofficial Hitz Site. We grabbed him for an RWHC e-interview recently..
