Corey to conquer Sydney!

There have been tons of volunteers in the history of Hitz FM. Must do some form of training with the station. People who want to be announcers or newsreaders have their own course. Many ex-Hitz staff have gone on to exciting jobs in Australian media, including Corey Layton aka 'Captain Turntable'. When he first joined Hitz, he was 13.. and amazingingly enthusiastic. Over the years, he helped in the promotions department, and almost every shift on-air.. from breakfast to the Hitz 20. A couple of years ago, Corey got his first fulltime 'paid' gig at TT-FM. Corey on Hitz FM Corey at TT FM   Corey is one of the most hard-working volunteers I ever met at Hitz. Last year he won the RAWARD (Aus radio industry awards) for Best Newcomer On-Air.. Now, he's a part of the first new FM station to launch in Sydney for years. Good luck Corey, from everyone who worked with you at Hitz, or listened to you on-air.
