Episode 7 of Raw centred on Curtis -
a quiet character who I'm sure gained a few
female (and possibly male) admirers amongst the TV audience.
His 'country mate', Wayne turns up.. causes
havoc and falls for a "Chaddie Chick".. the same one that
Curtis likes!
Curtis builds on his reputation as 'Mr nice
guy' by building a bedroom for Robert.. but even HE isn't impressed
when Wayne crashes his van.
As things fall apart, Curtis climbs onto the
roof of RAW.. and a crowd gathers..
..What's he doing? Is he going to jump?
Who's that love letter written to?
Raw FM broadcasts it all live..

The character of 'Curtis' is an example of a
community radio volunteer who doesn't crave the spotlight, yet becomes
an important part of the station.
Curtis is similar to a number of Hitz FM
volunteers who were students from the bush, who moved to Melbourne for
study.. and found something more interesting.. which may or may not
have helped their studies!
His experience of feeling low, and
questioning his own value is similar to the experience of one Hitz
volunteer, who had a breakdown during the 3rd broadcast. This person
was extremely upset, and a very dangerous and stressful situation
was
eventually calmed down by a number of station volunteers.
