This episode mainly looks at the life of
Mark, the quiet, rich, private school boy who ends up being an announcer
on Raw FM..
Initially, Mark just tries to copy the
'blokey' sound of Grangers previous work on commercial station Rok
FM.
His parents aren't exactly thrilled by his
new hobby and the time it takes up.
-After all, playing loud dance music on a
volunteer radio station is hardly the best preparation for a law
degree!
During this episode, the Raw team have to do
some soul-searching at the end of their first broadcast.

Mark's very similar to a few of Hitz's
volunteers. For many of them, Hitz FM changed their life.. as they saw
it as a place that needed their skills. Mark's desire to emulate the
sound of commercial radio was similar that of some of the Hitz
announcers..
until they realised that they could create their
own sound..
The second Hitz broadcast originated from a
number of classrooms at Xavier College.. a private school in
Melbourne's east,
that "Mark" could have attended.
During the broadcast, some of the students'
parents complained that listening to
Hitz FM was interfering with their studies, and
some of them would even listen to their 'walkmen' in the toilet!
